Do laminates ruin your teeth?
No, they don’t but we can understand where the confusion around this came from.
When you come to have your veneers in Wagga fitted, we will simply roughen the outer area of the tooth and then place dental cement over it to adhere to the laminate.
The roughening of the tooth is important, as it allows the cement to stick to something and will prolong the life of the laminate.
Does having them fitted hurt?
No, the fitting of a laminate should not cause any discomfort.
Our team will gently sand the front of the teeth where the laminates are to be fitted, place some dental cement and then place the laminate over the top. Depending on how many you are having fitted, the process may take up to 2 hours.
